my sister finally got justice (‘:
her soon-to-be-ex-husband, who has been cheating on her for the last three years with someone who was 17 when he first met them and who kept a separate bank account to buy said girlfriend presents and things, was court-ordered to pay $940 a month in child support plus retroactive (meaning to pay for the months since he left) all the way back to November. his visitation was also changed from two days every Sunday and Monday to Thursday through Monday every two weeks.
this isn’t the end of the battle and she has to wait 3 weeks to get any sort of compensation from him, but after the initial visitation hearing, this is a godsend.
